On Saturday, May 12th, women and mothers of Hampton Roads are invited to the Mother’s Advocacy Tea at the Meyera Oberndorf Library in Virginia Beach. Mothers are resilient. Mothers are the heartbeat of our families. Mothers can change the world for a better future for our children!
Come to this civic open house to find opportunities for moms to unite their unique talents and personal values with volunteer choices from local non-profit organizations.

Our goals for each mother who attends the Mother’s Day Advocacy Tea are universal:
- Empower women and mothers to realize and direct their power to make positive changes
- Support issues that directly impact their neighborhood(s)
- Restore confidence in their community by developing leaders from their community
- Advocate for commonsense policies (like gun control and climate change) from elected officials and business leaders
We would love for you to attend this transformative event! The Mother’s Day Advocacy Tea is free and open to the public. We are inviting non-profit organizations from Virginia Beach and other towns and cities in Hampton Roads.
