Berkley Goes to City Hall
It’s up to us. We have to make our voices heard to protect our communities, our homes and our children. The Southside Connector has caused chaos. Closing our roads, damaging our homes and eventually, it will put all of us in harms way daily!
Virginia Natural Gas is installing a 24” gas pipeline, 1250 psi pressure, buried 3’ deep. The route would run through Berkley, dangerously close to schools, churches and homes. The pipeline could cause problems for safety, drinking water and property rights
The pipeline is unwanted and unnecessary. We need city officials to protect us!
The Formal Session begins at 7:00pm. so plan to arrive early for a good seat. City Council won’t take action unless they hear from US! We need at least 10 Berkley and Norfolk folks to speak. If you or someone you care about lives, learns or worships in Berkley, please consider speaking. We can help you prepare.
We all must stand up to the big utility corporations but the city council needs to hear from us!
